Sheena Garg Edwards is the owner and designer of
the Lizzie Lou Shoes.
Sheena is the mother of three kids,
Emily, Lizzie and Vince. After
having her first child in 2000, Sheena
decided to stay at home full time and
put her career on hold. In 2008,
the idea for Lizzie Lou Shoes was
born, and her first line of shoes was
brought to the market in May 2009.
While the company is based in San Antonio, Texas,
Lizzie Lou Shoes' production is
managed by Sheena's cousin Shilpi Goel in New Delhi, India. This international relationship allows for the popular colors and styles of India to be brought to the United States in a way that has never been seen before: In flip flops.
Lizzie Lou Shoes are high
quality women's flip flops that are
not only beautiful, stylish and fun,
but extremely comfortable even if you
spend hours a day on your feet as a
busy mom. Our flip flops are
hand embroidered on leather with a
genuine crystals.
Lizzie Lou Shoes are different from
the competition because they are not
mass produced and are made in small
quantities, approximately 50-75 of
each style. Instead of remaking
the same style, we design new styles
each season. This makes each
pair of Lizzie Lous like owning your
own pair of art work.
Soles4Souls
Lizzie Lou Shoes is
partnering with
Soles4Souls
to help them achieve their goal of 11
million pairs of shoes in 2011.
Soles4Souls has a simple concept: we
procure shoes and get them to those in
need.
For every pair of Lizzie Lou
Shoes purchased, Soles4Souls
will distribute a pair of shoes to
someone in need.
It has been that simple: changing the
world one pair at a time.
